Shahzavar Karimzadi is currently Senior Lecturer at London Metropolitan University. He has led and taught a range of modules both at under-graduate and post-graduates levels. At post-graduate level he has led and taught Global Financial Markets, Research Methods, Business Economics and International Business. The modules that Shahzavar has led and taught at under-graduate level include; Introduction to Economics, International Economics, Financial Markets and Institutions, Capital Markets, Macroeconomic Models and Business Economics. Shahzavar has supervised a large number of dissertations both at under and postgraduates level and acted as external examiner for PhD degree theses.
Shahzavar has a BSc and MA in Economics and graduated from University of London with a PhD in Mometary Economics. His academic background also includes a BA in Philosophy from Birkbeck College, University of London and a teacher training certificate from University of Greenwich.
Before joining London Metropolitan University he taught at North London University and at the Business School of Beijing Electronic College in China. His portfolio of lecturing experience also include teaching Economics and Business studies at Goldsmith college (University of London), North London College and South Thames College.
